Always Something!

The good, the bad and the ugly;

We started the children in a group grief therapy group. All 7 of them have experience so much loss in their lives. The stress that they must feel has to be off the charts. We have been to the group several times. The 3 newest kids (main reason for this) have started to open up and talk about Ethiopia. At this point, it is just the stories- not personal feelings. That is a great start.

All of the kids on the whole are "happy". They do not have joy. Some of them have started a relationship with Jesus Christ since they have come to their "forever home". We do however have some real issues that have just come up in the last few weeks. Please pray for the kids as you feel lead.

The good- Justin is doing SO much better in school than we thought- I am glad for teachers that care enough to return phone calls and e-mails. I am happy that he wants to learn.
